The Ones That Fit Perfectly

Have you ever met two completely different people that seems to complete each other's missing pieces? When I became a fan, one thing I first noticed was how wholesome the connection is between JOSH and JUSTIN. They seem to be looking after one another at all times with quick glances and subtle nods, that most people would probably miss. JOSH is the youngest of two siblings, but we all know that he had to grow up fast and be the man of the house. JUSTIN, on the other hand, grew up with a complete and loving family. As far as I can tell, they lived completely opposite childhood. While JUSTIN enjoyed Christmas and New Year's eve happily, perhaps opening gifts and celebrating, JOSH probably prayed he could spend at least one day not worrying about life.

Who would've thought that they would end up in the same group and years later, still be together reaching for their dreams.

JUSTIN being the youngest son seems to have longed for the feeling of being the one taking care of a younger brother. Our most charismatic member may not be a younger brother material, but anyone could see that JOSH sometimes still needs someone to show him that it's okay not to be strong all the time. People who have been used to being independent and facing their problems alone could easily feel uncomfortable showing weakness, and I absolutely know what I'm talking about.

@joshcopobbq shipping aside, i really love their brotherhood & how they're naturally clingy to each other esp. to jah :(( that no matter what happens, justin de dios is still and will always be josh, pau, stell and ken's bunso :(( #sb19_justin #sb19_ken #sb19_stell #sb19_pablo #sb19_josh #sb19 #mahalima #pbb #sb19onpbb #fyp ♬ original sound - juvs - jubi

As a one-year-old A'tin, the first thing I did when I learned about them was to sort their YouTube videos and binged watch them. I became a fan not because of their music, it came after I got to know them enough to fall in love with their personalities. JOSH and JUSTIN have been showing signs of an older-brother-younger-brother dynamic. Whenever JUSTIN feels low on energy or not in the mood, it almost always JOSH to first notice and approach him. I remember watching an old video of them inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. JAH's introvert side came out. The beautiful thing is, all the other four stepped up and became the older brothers he needed at the time, especially JOSH

There's also one video that I watched where Tita Aldrene spoke about JOSH and JAH's friendship. She said that the two are puzzle pieces that complete each other. I believe she means these two compliment each other, which I totally agree. The way they naturally show playfulness towards one another, how JUSTIN just feels comfortable playing with JOSH's phone and going in to his social media accounts. Of course, our Bunso does it to others, too, but JOSH seems to be his most preferred or comfortable target. It feels like JUSTIN enjoys being the bunso with JOSH the most, which I find adorable.

What makes their friendship even cuter is the fact that both their parents, especially their mothers seem to be close to each other, too. Tita Aldrene was seen on JUSTIN's press conference when he debuted. During their Dunkin' Donut event, JUSTIN's father was seen hugging JOSH who seemed so pleased to see him that day. Anyone can see how JAH's natural "bunso" demeanor would show whenever his with JOSH. It just comes voluntarily, and that might be because of JOSH's natural "kuya" aura. It's like he was built to be an older brother and JUSTIN as the younger brother. They're a perfect combination.

Their relationship reminds me of myself and my little sister. Despite our differences, we're always there for each other, and we will always be each other's biggest fans and fiercest protectors. I can sense these two are the same. I mean, we can all remember how JOSH, our resident trashtalker, went on TikTok to post a video with JUSTIN's Surreal as the background music. In the video, he was seen playfully touching his nose and lip-synching the song's lyrics. It was definitely a response to the statement of a certain broadcaster who said that his hopes was for more "Filipino-looking" idols to get famous and said some things that were highly inappropriate for a person of his status. I was both pleased and full of pride, because as an older sister, I will always be like that for my baby sister. These two are the representation of the kuya-bunso dynamics, and I hope they'd remain that way for as long as possible.
